Continuing
with the previous example, we will make the test product available
in 3 different colors. This is accomplished by making seperate key
frames for each option. This example will use 3 frames, one representing
each color option.
1. Press Control F8 to insert a new symbol, name it "blue" and select
the button behavior.
2. Create a blue square, then press F5 three times.
3. Make a red button and a yellow button by repeating steps 1 and
2.
4. Return to
scene 1 and drag the buttons from the library (Ctrl+L) to the stage.
Type "Select Color" by the buttons.
5. Now lets add an image of our product. Add an image representing
the blue option. In this case, we chose a blue ball.
6. The next
step will assign the actions for the color buttons. Right click
on the blue button and select actions. Double click on "On Mouse
Event", then double click on "Go To". Uncheck the box that says
"Go to and play".
7. Repeat step 6 to assign the actions for the red and yellow buttons.
You will need to change the frame numbers. For the red button, enter
"2" in the frame field, and enter "3" in the Frame field for the
yellow button.
8. Select the first frame of the main time line, then...
go to the actions panel and double click on the "Stop" command.
9. Press F6
twice to create key frames at frame 2 and 3.
10. Create stop commands for frames 2 and 3 using the method in
step 8.
11. Go to frame 2, and select the the "Add to Cart" button. In the
actions panel, add Red to the product description.
12. Replace the blue image with an image representing the red option.
13. Repeat steps 11 and 12 for the yellow option. Press F12 to test
your movie. It should work like the example below.
