  1. What is Linkpoint API?

    Linkpoint API is an Internet Gateway for processing credit card transactions directly from completed shopping cart orders. The gateway is available to merchants who have accounts with Cardservice International (CSI).

    If you already have a LinkPoint API account, setting it up to work with virtualCART is simple. Just forward your "Welcome to Linkpoint API" message to support@virtualcart.com

    We will install the digital certificate file (.pem file) included in the message and set your virtualCART configuration "Checkout/Payment Options" to use the Linkpoint checkout form, and send you back a confirmation of installation.

  3. Does virtualCART charge for set-up or use of Linkpoint API?

    No. However, you must have a merchant account with Cardservice International. Merchant account fees are negotiated with Cardservice International.

    Yes. If you don't have an account with Cardservice International, but decide to add one later, virtualCART is easily reconfigureable to accomodate this.
